Bringing color to your life brings color to my own.
Hi, I'm Reese! I graduated in May 2026 from the PECK School of the Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a BFA in Design and Visual Communications.
Immediately following graduation, I took the plunge and moved to Minneapolis by myself for a job opportunity that would start my professional creative career. I am now making more connections, building my portfolio, and figuring out who I am in this wonderful city full of community, art, and nature.
Three words to describe myself would be:
A Self-Starter: If I want something, I work for it. I use my skills, knowledge, and connections to get where I want to go—always growing, becoming a better version of myself, saying yes to new experiences, and meeting new people.
An Empath: I thoughtfully consider how people feel, often taking on those feelings as my own. Some may see this as a weakness, but I see it as a way to deeply connect with my clients. I want to understand their emotions and core values and translate those feelings into the right colors, layouts, and typography that feel authentic to them. This is also why I love community. There is something incredibly rewarding about helping people I care about and seeing my work bring them joy. That feeling is the best in the world.
A Creative: Plain and simple—in every possible way. I am a creative through and through, in both the good ways and the “bad” ways. I love making things, trying new things, and finding inspiration in pretty much everything—art, music, theater, people, places, and even a good happy hour. I like color. I like personality. I like a desk covered in Post-it note doodles, a handmade calendar and to-do list on a sheet of paper, and a brain full of ideas. Sometimes my thoughts go in five directions at once; that is why I write everything down. But I don’t think creativity is supposed to be neat. I think the curiosity, the chaos, and the different way of thinking are exactly what make a creative valuable.

At the end of the day, I’m a designer and artist who cares about making things that feel thoughtful, honest, and alive. I’m drawn to bold color, strong visual systems, and the little details that make something feel personal. I believe good design creates connection—it can make people feel something, bring attention to what matters, and give ideas a life of their own. I care about good work, good people, and making something I can be proud of.
